The Gauteng sunset
Gauteng evokes all that is city and suburbia.

If you’re Jo’burg based and don’t want to dent the petrol budget, head west towards Bosvark 4x4 Adventures on Robert Broom Drive in Noordheuwel, Krugersdorp.
They offer over 20 kilometres worth of trail graded between 2 and 5 with plenty of mud and rock. Cap off the day by driving out to any of the four viewpoints to meet with magnificent vistas overlooking Johannesburg, Sandton and Lanseria. With picnicking, braai facilities, paintball and a quad track for the kids, it’s going to be a real crowd-pleaser.
Keen on off-roading in your Toyota Hilux through a landscape carved out millions of years ago?

Hiking, mountain biking and river rafting are also offered, as well as quad biking on a separate track.

The nature enthusiast in your family will enjoy the many varieties of flora and fauna and any of the viewpoints provide a perfect setting to witness the sun go down over the Magaliesberg.
